Agreed. I still think they could make some relatively inexpensive updates to the field. Build a wall in left to center to block the view of practice field and ATC. Plainsman Park at Auburn did this to block electrical infrastructure in left field. If that is too expensive, Plant trees and get that crap blocked from view. I would get rid of all bleachers and make first base line look less cheap. Need to get that office building west of soccer field gone (that can go anywhere) and demo the old softball field and make it into a nice parking lot. This could be used as tailgating lots for football and make going to baseball, soccer a better deal for fans. These steps gotta be cheaper than a new stadium. MU is a long way from needing anything more than a 2 to 3 thousand seat venue.

Every time I look at Plainsman Park, I see what Simmons could strive for. Seems to have similar space to work with and issues that can translate.
