If they run the table in the Big 12, they'll get in with an AQ bid — probably even without being a team with the cachet of Notre Dame.

TCU went undefeated in a league with Texas & Oklahoma, aside from a narrow overtime loss in the Big 12 title game.

Clemson, Washington, and Michigan State aren't Big 12 teams.
