College football is heading in a direction that will make it very difficult for teams outside the P2 to compete at a national level.

The revenue gap between the B1G/SEC and other P5 conferences has been relatively narrow, but in 2024 it really starts to diverge. Projections say that by 2028 the B1G/SEC will be making over twice as much as the next closest league ($100M+ vs < $50M)
