You want happy , stupid, drone workers who worship the ruling class. Can't have too much education among the workers, it just makes them too aware , and not happy drones. God forbid people seek individual sources of happiness, self fulfillment outside their assigned drone task and role. Drones are here to make the life better for the elite and should be happy with trickle down benefits.
