in typical Mizzou fashion, we drew a criminally under-seeded Florida State team that came within a few points of reaching the Final Four (and was capable of winning the entire thing).

By comparison, Gates drew Utah-State and Princeton. That 9-seed FSU team from 2018 would have destroyed him like 15-seed Princeton did.
