They have 1 tournament the last decade. It was their best seed ever. They have also had a losing record 6 straight years. 4 of those years they failed to get to 10 wins. They won 3 last year.

Mississippi has 2 tournaments in the last 10 years, but did just hire one of the elite coaches in the game. Beard will make them a force until a blue blood comes for him.
