That the coaches who would have been hired would have taken a program that had won a TOTAL of 6 games in two seasons and done better than Norm?

Keep in mind that the athletic and university administration that oversaw a decline in Mizzou football after Dan Devine and then led us through a dreadful era of football starting in 1985 would be doing the hiring of basketball coaches.

If you think that would have worked out better than Norm, good luck.
