First you need to be deep because it wears down our own players as much as it does the opponents players. Mike Anderson's teams could rarely deliver on the 40 minutes of hell concept.
Secondly, when you can deliver, there's always a few teams out there that have guards that don't get rattled and schemes to exploit the press.
Never been a big fan of the style. It's great for beating the teams you should beat but it can break down against the better teams and Princeton was equipped well enough to exploit it as well.
