me very angry years ago:

I said I was for "small government" but when my views were challenged - I realized that I was hypocritical in that I only wanted government to be smaller in areas I didn't like (welfare, public education, "liberal stuff", etc) but wanted it bigger in areas that aligned with my worldview (policing, both domestic and international, spycraft, picking business winners and losers, etc) and my pride, not wanting to admit my hypocrisy, caused me to dislike him.

Liberals know they want big government - and even today are fine with the establishment and war (b/c it now aligns with their worldview) so pickle never made them grapple with their own cognitive dissonance.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
