1) McCarthy doesn’t have that power, and neither does the house.
2) In the recent omnibus that was passed, there is EXPANSION of the IRS, and McCarthy voted for it
3) 50,000+ IRS agents are set to retire over the next 10 years, so the majority of the “hires” are not new positions
4) Shouldn’t the government be going after tax cheats? Seems like an easy way to bring in additional revenue?
