No I didn’t. He said it was a difficult job and would never have come if Mike Alden wasn’t here. He saw some potential if he could land some of the state’s best and knew facilities had to get better.
But the bigger point is that Mizzou is not a school that wins big. It can have moments where it challenges for something big but ultimately it never really has closed the deal like other P5 schools. There’s hardly any power 5 schools that are as devoid of conference and national titles as Mizzou. Most of them stumble onto something of note.
