I'd say the increase in participation of armed militias, the folks in the capitol looking for Pence and Pelosi, the folks trying to kidnap Whitmer, increase in activity of white supremacists groups like the proud boys, etc. It isn't directly attributable to boards like this, but the anonymity of the internet has led to spaces like this to share toxic and hateful and almost always misleading content, which has now bled into the political mainstream.

But I feel like just a "gestures broadly at everything going on" is sufficient.
