Some have rules against putting up plastic fences, or satellite dishes. Some prohibit parking commercial vehicles in the street, or in the driveway.
In ours, people who own companies have been cited for parking trucks in the street that had commercial logos on them. Another was told he had to park his vehicle in the garage. When he objected that it wouldn't fit, they said he had to bring a different vehicle home, park it somewhere else, or make the garage tall enough to accommodate it, but neighbors could not see it.
In ours residents are also not allowed to put signs in their yards, other than a for sale sign and their are strictly limited in size & even content. They are not allowed to say "reduced price", for instance.
You couldn't put a Mizzou sign out in the yard, either.
