Petroleum Reserve.

The STRATEGIC purpose is to overcome interruptions in petroleum deliveries, not to be used as a re-election TACTIC because oil prices are higher than desired despite no interruption in deliveries.

Biden is using the Strategic Petroleum Reserve because his ACTUAL energy strategy has resulted in fueling (no pun intended) huge inflation rates and is jeopardizing Democrats' ability to remain in power.
