The rules were obviously lax and probably rarely enforced, especially in heavily Democratic districts. And so what the hell, give it a shot.

The tone of the article of course is that enforcing the law is racist. Just because something is against the law doesn't mean you can't do it.

Kudos to DeSantis for stepping up… And taking the heat for trying to cleanse the voting process.
