They need a GM with a solid system wide philosophy and let him hire a manager and coaches who fits what they're trying to do.

I am close to someone whose kid sits in an MLB dugout every game as an assistant trainer. Will probably be a head trainer somewhere sooner rather than later, so knows the ins and outs of organizations. Has talked to most of them about job prospects, and of course has peers in all the dugouts. KC's reputation under Moore: They love keeping things in the family and promotions in house. This goes along with Moore's loyalty to a fault and bible thumping hires perception. That kind of stuff puts a ceiling on your success over time.
