They have said from the beginning their aim was to eliminate Ukrainians, their culture and their language. That's called genocide.
Russia has obliterated their own army. They've asked for soldiers from Belarus, Kazakhstan and others but have been turned down. They advertise for more Russian soldiers in Moscow and St. Pete, but can't get any. They've resorted to creating a new 3rd Army out of prisoners and mental patients. Russia has already blown through their regular soldiers, their paratroopers and thousands of Wagner mercenaries. Yes, some remain, but they've been battered and reduced significantly. They've started combining operational battalions due to a lack of soldiers. Recently, someone in Russia realeased documents about payouts to families verifying the amounts of dead soldiers that Ukraine has been saying all long. It's in the neighborhood of 50,000 dead. Close to the same amounts Ukraine has been updating the world on. Ukraine has recently accepted the surrender of thousands of Russian soldiers.
Ukraine is mopping up the rest of the Kharkiv region and is still making progress in Kherson, where supply lines to thousands of Russian troops have been cut by taking out the bridges behind them and sending HIMARS and other rockets to logistics storage, ammo dumps and other targets on the other side of the river. Russia is losing, and right now, surprisingly quickly. Decimated remaining units have soldiers who are either running away or surrendering. Telephone calls back home have been intercepted giving their side of what's happening, matching Ukraine's releases. Ukraine hasn't released exact numbers of the recent POWs who have surrendered, but's somewhere in the thousands. Russia has admitted their troops have now pulled back from the Kharkiv region, but have called it a "regrouping." Russian troops have abandoned massive amounts of tanks, trucks and all kinds of ammo that Ukraine will mow be able to utilize. That's how quickly tRussian troops ran away.
Putin himself announced he just fired the general in charge who had been in place for less than two weeks. They already said General Shoigu, one of Putin's friends, has been "sidelined" and relieved of his duties. Russia has announced that retreating troops will be shot at the Russian border if they try to escape.
If you have any intellectual integrity at all, you can find all this information, verified by multiple news sources, except in Russia of course, because they've been lying to their own people. Even they have started to figure out what's really happening and are now beginning to speak out publicly. It's beginning to provoke a negative response, even from those who were in favor of the invasion.
Here's the really sad part: All of this information is out there from multiple sources around the world to read or check into, yet consistently you've denied it. To paraphrase Robert De Niro in Casino, "You're either too stupid to figure it out or you're in on it. Either way, you're out."
Slava Ukraini.
