And Russia is in a hasty retreat seems to be a good ROI. Adding in the fact that western nations will build ukraine, that western arms manufacturers are getting more and more orders also seems like a good deal. Now tack on the fact that Russia is crippled.... and China is watching this all played out. Plus this is before I get to the oil and natural gas deposits (supposed to be as big as the deposits Norway had at their height), and the food export potential of ukraine...

All in all, seems like a worthwhile investment.
