Now the First Amendment, the REAL First Amendment protects our right to say these things, to say them in a public forum, to inflict emotional damage on those who disagree or who have dead children or whatever and guess what - that's life.
Someone said something hurtful/inaccurate whatever.
Life goes on.
In the Alex Jones case, Alex Jones is not on trial. The First Amendment is on trial. And so far the First Amendment has been found guilty of being the First Amendment.
If we all have to pay damages to some dumbphuck leftist safespacer from hell every time we exercise our First Amendment rights, than the First Amendment will die.
And, just like the Second Amendment, only those willing to rabidly cancel others using a corrupt court system will be allowed to 'express themselves' and only as long as those expressions follow the regime-supplied narrative.
In other words - only the criminals will have the guns.
The answer to 1984 is 1776.
May cooler heads prevail in the appellate process and hopefully both the First and Second amendment shall remain undamaged.
If however, the regime is allowed to make the First Amendment illegal, the inability of any media to call a psyop a psyop in order to halt tyranny in it's tracks will be a death knell for the second amendment.
And from there the dominos fall rather readily - welcome to Australia or the UK, where the police regularly beat yo azz for a Facebook post or appearing in public without a mask...
