abortion is a Constitutional Right under the state constitution. Opponents of abortion believe the state court made that right out of thin air (much like happened in Roe).. the court said this sentence in the stet constitution enshrined abortion as a right: "All men are possessed of equal and inalienable natural rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

They attempted to (essentially) amend the state Constitution and void the state Supreme Courts ruling.
