on chemical manufacturers as well. I know that there are some products that have enhanced agriculture greatly, but they were horrible for farmers and the environment. They were also great profit centers for the Monsanto's of the world.

Like right now, the newer seed products take a huge amount of water, do they not? I see more farmers irrigating now than I ever did as a kid. Back then, only the really rich farmers had center pivots. Now, everyone is pumping through those plastic liner bags.
