They have so many issues there, especially in western Europe. Densely populated, not a great base for ingredients, and more environmental issues in general.

For sure, they are way over-regulated, but that area has been and always will be a relative under producer and no way to be a major producer in the world.

The midwest USA (and moving up to the prairies of Canada, Eastern Europe, and South America are the best places in the world for agriculture.
