would not constantly post about sample size.

I actually agree with your point about the purpose of most polls. If you stuck to that argument then it would lead to actual discussion. When you post about sample size it implies and ignorance of the topic and leads to people ignoring your post.

The questions we should ask about every poll we see.

1. Who commissioned the poll and why?

2. What exact questions were asked?

3. Who was polled?
