The affordability issue is very real now for many people who have to travel a fairly long distance. Plus I think what you’re getting at is that there is a silent majority out there that thinks this whole thing is a fiasco and has taken the fun and charm out of it. Sports are sports- they aren’t pure capitalism as you said because what’s the point of putting out of business a team you’re supposed to be playing against every year?
