but does MU have as many deep pocketed boosters who are willing to fund NIL as others? Probably not as many as most of the current blue bloods. Again, I don't know the answer. I do know that if our better players pick up and leave after a year or two because USC or a school in Texas waves more money in their faces (combined with an instant transfer) then my interest will disappear.
As a fan, I have to see some continuity within the program. That's just me. The gut punch Pitt fans must feel today is not something I'd put up with. Bottom line for me, following sports should be fun. This ain't fun to me. Maybe it'll all work out just fine.
