economy and creates a lot of hardships for a lot of people. Big spikes in gas prices have a tendency to cause recessions and our economy and the world economy were already reeling from the pandemic and all of the stupidity associated with it.
Of course our financial system is also in "The Mother of all Bubbles" and is built upon an unsustainably huge mountain of debt.
Spiking gas prices could once again be the pin that pops the financial bubble.
