But it also would have meant English would have become even more of a malcontent, either that or he would have been playing in the Matt Pressey role instead where he would have been much less effective. But certainly would have improved the defense considerably.
Hard to say because that team's greatest strength was its well defined roles and how the pieces all came together, so changing any dynamic even for the better probably makes other aspects worse. Of course that because the team's undoing in the end since they only had a 7 man rotation and two key players were playing through injury.
