would struggle in DI. Mostly for the same reasons. DII is mostly regional when it comes to recruiting and CM would not have the local connections to recruit at that level.
I also think CM is a very poor Xs and Os coach. There are many coaches at that level who would beat him if he had similar talent.
For the record I think there is only one DII coach Mizzou would even consider and I have been on record many times saying that I think he would be a mistake. If McCollum wants to coach at the DI level there are steps he would need to take before jumping to a P5 school. To this point he has expressed no desire to do that.
