We will be losing a rotational guy. What will we replace him with?
Will the other returning players up their game enough to cover that difference? That is the question.
Even with his limitations as a player, Pickett is a top of the rotation guy. If Shaw is coming in as a bottom of the rotation guy, most likely for his recruiting ranking, then who is moving into Pickett's top of the rotation spot.
Maybe several guys improve and their cumulative progression fills that need. I don't see that happening. Maybe CM can find a transfer to do it. I simply do not have confidence in his ability to do that.
