The question coming into the season should have been do you have the foundation of a team that if they add 1-2 guys can.

Then the question needs to be can this staff add those 1-2 guys? After 2020 Mizzou was in position that if they added a legit starting wing they could have competed for a top 3 spot in the SEC. The staff failed to add that wing.
