And to tick off the libs, most centers require:
-insurance (not just so they don't have to foot a $200K+ bill, but the meds are expensive and have to be taken life-long, so stable insurance coverage is a must)
- no pre-existing conditions (obviously would be dumb to give an organ to someone who might die of something else in the next few years)
- A complex social/psychological assessment: needs support at home - a stable home/shelter, demonstrates compliance with medications/office visits, etc
- no smoking/drugs (including MJ)
