isn't the only negative outcome, but I agree that age is a big variable here (more important for 75 year olds and 55 year olds to get the shot than 24 year olds), as is previous infection (not as important to get the shots if you've already gained some degree of immunity through no choice of your own because the virus already paid a visit).
