If you are going to start from scratch then completely start from scratch. For years is enough to see if the organization is progressing. This one obviously is not.

If this is a .500 team then he should definitely be gone. If he somehow gets to 18 or 19 wins he should return next season to continue the rebuild. I personally don't see that happening.
