And i love to hear people, especially teachers, say we should teach kid HOW to think, not WHAT to think.
In today's schools we have kids who learn "facts" or what their teachers want them to believe are facts. They accept it because they are graded on what facts they have memorized.
Like The Idiot and the idiots on this board they cannot defend their positions because they have never seen those positions challenged. At least not without severe consequences.
So kids grow up believing that the "facts" are immutable and irrefutable and that disagreement is indefensible and deserving of cancellation.
