educator questions.
1) High School - Math/Science/Technology
2) 20 yrs Urban - 10 yrs Borderline Urban/Suburban
3) Teachers should challenge students to think, not tell them what yo think.
4) CRT is total BS, it has no place in the classroom or in our society
5) Never. If you believe that transgenderism is a problem in your school then rebuild all facilities with single occupancy bathrooms.
6) No mandate, but anyone who feels more comfortable should be encouraged to wear one.
7) In some classrooms these conversations are required. But again the teacher should be teaching the students to examine their beliefs, not trying to tell them what to believe. My students don't, and never should know my political leanings. The same is true of my religious beliefs.
8) My standards should not be impacted by race, gender, religion or socio-economic status. If they are then they are not really standards are they?
9) You insult AAs when you tell them they must be sitting next to a white kid to learn effectively. There is some marginal value in kids seeing people who look like them in the school building but when I am told that I cannot teach black children you insult both me as a professional and the black children who are trying to learn from me.
