decades. 90% to 95% of the teachers are hard working, have the students best interest at heart and are not pushing any agenda.
In the more concrete disciplines ( math, science, technology and trades) you see almost none of that stupidity at the building level. In the softer disciplines ( languages, social studies and arts) you find a handful of agenda pushers in every building. So in a staff of seventy-five there will always be a small handful pushing this crap.
But, here is the important part, those five or six will be much louder than the other seventy. They are also very persistent in their demands. The other important thing is that the other 70ish staff members are actually tolerant of their beliefs so we do not really push back. The inclusivity group, ironically enough, is totally intolerant of any beliefs other than theirs. They demand that you honor their beliefs while completely dismissing yours.
The other thing to notice in all of this is that it is not really coming from classroom teachers. Most of it is coming from the universities and the 'experts' that district's hire, they then just need to convert a few classroom teachers to spread their dogma. Young teachers coming out of college are very likely to drink this kool-aid.
