This is what liberals do.

They will come up with an anecdote or some sad story that describes some bizarre occurrence that no one has ever heard of and make laws and policies around that exception.

That’s how we got where we are because now; defund all the police because a small fraction of 1% of encounters with the public are by criminal cops.

Open the Mexican border to extended families of illegals because four year old was being raised by his 11th cousin twice removed and needed a life-saving bone marrow transplant from only that one person. Therefore, every Mexican and his brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, step Brothers, stepsisters, grandparents, step grandparents, friends of their ex sister-in-law’s uncle should get to come in and live for free.

How about we, “do the most good for the most people” and treat rare exceptions as what they are.
