Which is the point he was trying to make. Who cares if they have separate bank accounts or are an actual legal entity? The whole University system is just a component of the State of Missouri anyway. Making these distinctions like they matter is just foolish.

The University has a separate accounting of the AD (it is not just kept by the AD). Period. That's all that is important. They also pay for their own debt service payments, so it doesn't matter whose name the actual debt is in. The expectation is for Athletics to be a self-supporting operation. Currently, they are running a negative balance, but that is not expected to last for a long time.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
