in the stadium

1) Winning can't be the only strategy.
Yes, winning can bring in fans. But look at the Chiefs vs the Royals. The Rams vs the Cardinals. The Royals sucked for so long (and do again). Their attendance hangs on winning vs losing. So did the Rams. The Cardinals and Chiefs gameday experience is what keeps Camarohead and Busch packed, no matter the record. Gameday Experience #1

2) Affordability. Is it better to have a sold out stadium at a discounted rate or a half empty stadium at a premium ticket cost? Focus on making undesirable areas cheap (like the Hill and corners). Get as many people in as you can at segmented price points based on desire. Concessions and merch while proven to have lower per-caps with discounted tickets still are higher when more people are in the building.

3) Unique and Premium Seating. There is a reason why the Bunker Club is full. People (Companies) are willing to pay to have an experience. You can't see the game worth sh*t down there. It is about who see you down there. Rip out all the bleachers, put in real seats with cupholders. Add more socialized seating areas, like 4-Topps (those swivel seats in the top of the SEZ with halfmoon tables).

4) Bathrooms. I love a good trough pee urinal. But they are packed. There needs to be more bathrooms per capita, especially now since they sell beer in the games.

5) Concessions. I know a lot of people tailgate and eat before. But even with that, the lines are way too long. Levy, Centerplate, Ararmark, they are all the same. Go with Delaware North Sports Service, they provide the Cardinals with food and beverage service and a step above the others.

6) Sell everything. Sell naming rights. Sell more ads. Sella nd mix up the deadtime promotions. Make them more fun. Put the pressure on Learfield to come up with better ideas and more interactive fan activation. Case IH Redzone? I don't care if it is the State Farm First Down!

7) Parking. They need to open up Reactor Lot to the general public again. $35/car. First Come. First Served till it fills up. Put RV's on the backside of Lot N in that secluded area. Donors are still going to pay the premium to have their Lot B, Lot M, Lot O, Lot P. But give an option for the single game tailgater just like they have at Arrowhead.

8) Groups. There should be a whole division of ticket office staff devoted to groups. A sales team that actively seeks out and creates events and experiences for companies, church groups, schools, reunions, youth sports, etc... Sell bulk of tickets at a group discount and actively create themed games, like 4-H/FFA ag day, Band Day (which they already do), Youth Sports, etc...
