If he can put together some good early and surprising results he can build back some fan excitement and create some expectations and things may snowball from there.

But if we have a mediocre or worse an underwhelming noncon that is probably it for the Cuonzo era. If we start SEC play as a nonfactor I don't think he can recover from that either short or long term.

We should know what we got pretty early on.
