As if anyone didn't already know, both Texas and Oklahoma bring a different level of dishonor and depravity to any conference that will have them. Why did Mizzou leave the Big 12? Because the Horns and the Sooners could not be trusted. With this move, it only amplifies how distrustful they are. They think nothing of leaving eight schools out in the cold.
It could be said that the SEC doesn't operate like that. Until now, that is. Bring in these two thieving gangs, and the conference will have two teams willing to shiv fellow members. It will only be a matter of time before they decide that whatever the SEC offers is not enough. Why share proceeds with S. Carolina, Ole Miss, Arky, Mizzou and Vandy? Give us more! They are corrupting influences.
Take a good look at the jilted, humiliated Big 12 schools on Sunday ... on their knees in the back of the Sooner Schooner, pleasuring Bevo.
This scenario will repeat in a few years with about half of the SEC members. Oh, and you can be certain that they make sure Mizzou gets it at both ends. If we've learned nothing else the past five years, it's that corrupters corrupt.
As for the rest of the points you make: Wishful thinking.
