We will see how it plays out. I think the NIL will make less difference than what people think. I also think you overestimate how much some advertiser in Houston is going to willing to pay for the name or likeness of an A&M player. To be certain, there are a lot of A&M alums here but most other sport fans are not necessarily A&M fans. The pro's are what matter most (by far among non alums) and if college basketball is mentioned, it will be U of Houston basketball first and foremost.
