I'd wager that the average NBA players plays with more teams than the average NCAA player does, even if you adjust for the longer careers in the NBA, so worrying about players leaving is probably just as bad, if not worse in the NBA. And of course NBA players can profit off their likeness and it's never an issue.

The NCAA created this mess because of their instance of making billions off of kids and crying that a small scholarship is more than enough when these kids are making millions for their universities. The NCAA has reaped what they've sowed after years of making billions off these kids.
