for mRNA to pass the nuclear membrane to get into the nucleus of a cell.

In the future they hope to be able to use mRNA to correct damaged DNA to fight cancer, neurological diseases and other conditions. But that tech is not what the vaccine is doing.

The mRNA for a spike protein does not need the enzymes to get into the nucleus. So they are not included.
