unemployment rate is always a tricky one

because it is based not only on the number of unemployed, but also those who are actively seeking unemployment. So if more people start looking for a job, but not yet found one, the number will go up regardless of the number of people that were let go, or continue on unemployment.

Is it a massive disappointment because of the expectations of the market or in general?
