cities. A fair amount of them are Catholic. Kids who devote their lives from an early point to football tend to end up some of these schools, and their personal religion is not an issue (contrary to what some may believe, the catholic private schools get a fair amount of non catholics 10% or so). Depending on the kid (some can't be helped), the work load they are put thru prepares them for college. That's what you're paying for.

So given that Notre Dame is a "higher institution of learning" and that St. Louis has a high number of private schools, it makes sense for them to invest in a bulletin board. It would not surprise me to see Vanderbilt eventually buy one too (see any of my comments on Clark Lea and Vanderbilt).
