and Notre Dame to be successful has to recruit at the highest level. They're a different story from state schools. And I'm not a ND fan. Don't hate them, don't "support them". There are a lot catholics who do who have no association with ND but they're also the ones who don't follow college football. They're not sending donations to ND's. They're a non-influential contingent other than they help NBC with the rating occasionally.
That Clark Lea had the opportunity to coach their under Kelly I think will be translated to Vanderbilt over the next 10 years. He'll be hunting the same recruits as ND.
So is Mizzou behind on the recruiting or more nobler? I'd love for Rakestraw to have a gangbuster year and we put a sign down there, him asking other Texans to keep the Mizzou-Texas line going.
I think you and I come from a different time, when things were done differently so we carry some of those way of seeing things done with us. Since Maclin, I've had to rethink concepts I thought were in stone. I want to see Mizzou knock some blue bloods out and take their spot. Always enjoy your discussions.
