My idea is yes we have talent, but not nearly the level to emerge into the top third of the SEC.
We didn’t have a consistent point guard. This is like your quarterback in football, the ball is in their hands and decisions they make are huge. This has to be addressed or we will be mediocre again.
The second most important position is likely center. Coach P thought she really had something in Ladazhia. It didn’t work out against good competition.
Unless these two positions improve significantly we wont beat good competition.
The team has to be much better defensively. It takes a lot of effort to be good. We have some players that don’t seem to grasp the importance.
