Yours is a logical argument and yes there are a fair number of players who were on some top 100 lists.With the exception of Blackwell and Frank most were near the bottom 100 .
The post players don’t appear to approach effective SEC players when they are on the floor, though Williams has some scoring ability .
I think this group collectively produced below what their expectations might have been.
Even the highest rated player, Blackwell is inconsistent and not efficient as an offensive player.
