18 year olds get caught up in the moment and even with explicit directions don't always follow coach's instructions. We have no clue what instructions were given at that point.
Agreed, I would've loved to see the kU pitcher forced to throw some semblance of a strike at that point before bailing her out.
Lackluster day all around from the offense, which with an inconsistent pitching staff like Mizzou's, can't happen.
